Thinking about where technology is taking us.
Technology is not neutral.
It transforms how we think, how we relate to one another, and how we live in community.
In a world increasingly mediated by algorithms, artificial intelligence, and digital platforms, we believe it is essential to create spaces for critical reflection, informed debate, and collective action.
Telos arose from a shared need to build bridges between scientific and technological knowledge and the humanities, between innovation and ethics, between expert voices and the citizenry.
Against technodeterminist narratives that present change as inevitable, we propose a perspective that places people at the center.
We live in a technologically complex reality. We recognize our collective capacity to steer technological development toward more just and humane ends.
Building bridges between science, the humanities, and the citizenry.
We promote critical reflection on the role of technology in society through scientific and philosophical outreach.
We work to foster a deep and accessible understanding of how technological innovation transforms our lives, our relationships, our planet, and our collective future.
A society capable of being technologically sovereign.
We aspire to build interdisciplinary analyses of technology and its social impact, where professionals from scientific, philosophical, and technological fields collaborate with the citizenry, businesses, and public administrations.
We envision a future in which technological tools are oriented toward people and the environment, not the other way around.
How we
work.
Six principles that guide how we choose our topics, how we write, whom we collaborate with, and whom we serve.
Critical thinking
We foster reflective and rigorous analysis of technological phenomena, questioning assumptions and exploring their ethical and social implications.
Interdisciplinarity
We believe that the great challenges of our time require dialogue among different fields of knowledge and perspectives, integrating science, philosophy, the humanities, and diverse lived experiences.
Inclusion and accessibility
We work to make knowledge and technology accessible to everyone, promoting universal design and digital literacy as tools of social justice.
Rigor and excellence
We uphold high standards of quality in our research, publications, and events, grounding our work in evidence and the scientific method.
Collaboration
We are committed to working in networks with academic institutions, social organizations, and public entities to multiply our impact and learn collectively.
Social commitment
We orient our work toward creating activities that generate positive transformations in society.
What we
do.
Four lines of work that sustain one another. From public conversation to classroom materials, from the essay to the campaign.
Conferences, seminars, and workshops where expert voices from different disciplines engage in dialogue on contemporary technological challenges.
Collaborative interdisciplinary research projects: AI ethics, the transformation of work, digital privacy, environmental impact.
Educational resources, publications, and multimedia materials that make specialized knowledge accessible to diverse audiences.
With universities, research centers, social organizations, and public administrations to democratize access to knowledge.
Who we
serve.
We work for and with all of society. We build networks with anyone who wants to better understand the technological world and participate in shaping it.
Founding
team.
Three disciplines, one association. Philosophy, anthropology, and systems architecture converge to sustain every conversation we open.

Horizontal collaboration across knowledge and experience.
