Somos una asociación dedicada a la reflexión crítica sobre el papel de la tecnología en la sociedad — entre la ciencia, la filosofía y la ciudadanía.

Nuestro origen

La tecnología no es neutral.
Transforma cómo pensamos, cómo nos relacionamos y cómo vivimos en comunidad.

En un mundo cada vez más mediado por algoritmos, inteligencia artificial y plataformas digitales, creemos fundamental crear espacios para la reflexión crítica, el debate informado y la acción colectiva.

Telos surge de la necesidad compartida de tender puentes entre el conocimiento científico-tecnológico y las humanidades, entre la innovación y la ética, entre las voces expertas y la ciudadanía.

Frente a discursos tecnodeterministas que presentan el cambio como inevitable, proponemos una mirada que sitúe a las personas en el centro.

Vivimos en una realidad tecnológicamente compleja. Reconocemos nuestra capacidad colectiva para orientar el desarrollo tecnológico hacia fines más justos y humanos.

Investigadora en la Universidad de Oviedo y subdirectora de la Cátedra MediaLab, pilar de de ética y humanidades. Le interesan la brecha digital, la alfabetización tecnológica y la facilitación de espacios de divulgación y pensamiento crítico sobre la tecnología.

Especializado en gobernanza ética y gestión de riesgos. Trabaja en la definición y ejecución de intervenciones en la cultura de las organizaciones. Le interesa el diseño de modelos de negocio sostenibles en la intersección entre academia, jurisprudencia y mercado.

Our origin

Technology is not neutral.
It transforms how we think, how we relate to one another, and how we live in community.

In a world increasingly mediated by algorithms, artificial intelligence, and digital platforms, we believe it is essential to create spaces for critical reflection, informed debate, and collective action.

Telos arose from a shared need to build bridges between scientific and technological knowledge and the humanities, between innovation and ethics, between expert voices and the citizenry.

Our perspective

Against technodeterminist narratives that present change as inevitable, we propose a perspective that places people at the center.

We live in a technologically complex reality. We recognize our collective capacity to steer technological development toward more just and humane ends.

Researcher at the Universidad de Oviedo and deputy director of MediaLab, a pillar of ethics and the humanities. Her interests include the digital divide, technological literacy, and facilitating spaces for outreach and critical thinking about technology.

Specialized in ethical governance and risk management. He works on defining and executing interventions in organizational culture. His interests lie in designing sustainable business models at the intersection of academia, jurisprudence, and the market.
